Terms and conditions
In order to participate in the Call for Ideas and submit a Technology Application form to this site, it is necessary to carry out the following:
- Register as a Research Center/University user on the site by providing the requested information and personal details. This will be first verified by the administrators of the platform before the account will be activated. (3)
- Fill in and submit the form ‘Technology Application’
In order to participate in the Call Projects SME’s must carry out the following:
- Register as a Company user on the site by providing the requested information and personal details. This will be first verified by the administrators of the platform before the account will be activated.
- Express an interest for a specific technology/research result.
Material submitted to the site
The applicant (Research Center or University) must declare that all material submitted to the site is their own proprietary property or that of their Research Center/University, and that they have the appropriate right or title to the material for submission to this site.
The applicant can elect to share all the submitted material with 3rd parties registered on the platform, or alternatively specify only select information to be shared with the same.
Publication of all material on the Platform is allowed only upon official authorization in written provided by the applicants (also by email).
Any information or material tendered to the platform can be removed upon request of the person who made the submission. Such a request must be made in writing to email@example.com after which the administrators will have 30 days to carry out the request.
Other studies or information that are deemed to complement the subject field of the applicant may be added to the same section of the site. Area Science Park is not responsible for any such material submitted to the site, including but not limited to, accuracy, validity, rights or provenance.
Since the project is funded by European funds, no payment is required for submitting or accessing material on the website.
Area Science Park bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or liability however so caused to applicants, registered users or 3rd party contributors on the platform for any feature, failure or functionality of the website or private login areas. Material submitted to this site is done so at the applicant’s risk and Area Science Park accepts no liability for the loss or damage to material stored online.
Researchers and SME’s can access to the Private Room in order to view a joint application to in the Call for Projects. When an SME is interested in a specific technology, an automatic request will be sent to the researcher, who can accept or deny this request. After acceptance of such a request, an NDA will be signed between the two parties. All registered users of the Private Room will be able to view all material submitted to the Private Room and make contact with each other and engage in private discussions. All communications carried out in the Private Room are done between the parties in good faith and shall not be conducted for payment or reward.
Innovation Audit Section
Only registered businesses (specifically Small Medium Enterprises) are permitted to use this section and the parties (Innovation Advisors and SME representative) must sign a non-disclosure agreement.
